well I suppose it explains a little why Emma is like she is, and lets hope that this is closure on this story. I hope she doesn't get back with Howard, another manipulative man. I don't think I can stand watching any more of the Reids. More Mrs Tembe and Gordon

First of all, well done to all the actors who took part in the snowy scenes in recent episodes. It looked freezing, indeed it was freezing and they all certainly earned their money. The Directors must have been part-eskimo or just plain sadistic! It`s now time to end the Emma/Chris story-line.It`s become weird and a bit freeky. The Vicar/Mrs.Tembe tale is excellent and P.C.Hollins very funny in his counselling role.

Mrs. Tembe and Gordon - what a wonderful pairing!! I just love them and hope they will live happily ever after. One thing worries me about them, though, are they going to do a Vivien with her? It took me a while to warm to Mrs. T and it took me a while to warm to Vivien - then what happened? Vivien marries and is shipped off to somewhere exotic (can't remmeber wher). Please don't let them do this to Mrs. T and the Rev!!They are the only thing that is keeping me watching. Emma and Chris has bored me to tears. The scriptwriters turnede Chris into some kind of whining infant. I've had an overwhelming desire to sock him one!!

Hello Pam A! Lovely to hear from you - it's been a while. Yes, Vivien went off to Bermuda. I seem to remember they did actually film her video diary (it was a farewell present to George and Ronnie or something), and it was basically her sitting in front of a blue backdrop, with a plastic palm tree in the background, sipping a pina colada. It fooled nobody, but it was nice to see her again! And, like you, I have a horrible sinking feeling that the vicar might be preparing to whisk Mrs Tembe into the sunset...which would mean losing one of my main reasons for watching the show. Though I also love Heston. And Zaniel. And Howard and his eyebrows. But I agree that we've had a bit more Emma and Chris than we really needed. Can we let them mourn in peace for a few weeks...
