Hooray! Happiness for Mrs Tembe! Fed up with the crumbs that Dr Carter has been offering her these past two years, she has decided to feast on the Reverend Clements' succulent asparagus. Praise be! It's such a joy to have a happy storyline - after months of assisted suicide, heartache for Howard, and Mandy's chickens...
But it wouldn't be 'Doctors' without a little bit of misery in the mix. And so - despite washing her hair and painting her toenails, Daniel is still being forced to keep his distance from Zara. However, it was nice to see her vulnerable side - as she's been incredibly nasty recently.
And I quite enjoyed the story of the day. You forget how hard it is for teenagers to experience young love, and be open about their feelings. This very simple fable reminded me of that.

Hey despite her Christian misgivings about having sex outside of marriage, Winifred Tembe succumbed to the seduction by Gordon ! HURRAY ! The dinner scene was so tender and the nervousness of both was obvious. I am so happy to see a love story being good rather than being endlessly fraught with problems as has been the case with all the other Doctors' love interests. Zara is showing her vulnerable side at last - her heart is broken by Daniel's infidelity. Finally her wall comes down and maybe now she can be less brittle.
