OK, everyone. So there I was at Waterloo Station. I found the £1.75 in a bag (thanks PamA), I bought a cheap day return to Letherbridge, and headed for Platform 29 and three-quarters. I had an elephant gun in my rucksack, and was all ready to shoot Gobby Hollins in the gob - an easy enough target to find.
Arriving at Letherbridge Central, I was surprised at the large number of homeless people - mostly elderly sitcom stars, hanging round the concourse, drinking Cypriot cooking sherry...but someone explained that these are old friends of Julia, who now have nothing to do all day. And I was about to walk to the Mill, but then...
Feeling a little peckish, I thought I'd drop by at the food bank. And I was just about to enter, when I heard the Reverend Gordon talking to Mrs Tembe. Telling her that in all their years together, he and his wife had never told a lie (oh, pur-lease). And that he could forgive Mrs Tembe, but could never love her. And that their relationship was over forever.
Well, I waited for Mrs Tembe to leave - mascara-tinted tears running down her face, and I walked inside, sang a quick chorus of 'Gordon is a moron'. And then I shot him. You will not see him in the programme again. Or if you do, that's his double. Or his twin brother. Or a flashback or something.
I hope that's OK and I don't have to refund the money? Gobby lives another day, but we won't see that smug vicar again, and Mrs Tembe will just have to find love with someone else. I'm sorry Mrs Tembe, but you deserve better.

I always felt the new vicar was not quite what he seemed. Also I suspect there is much more to come out about his past. The Doctors story lines have been much better recently and lets hope for success in the forthcoming Soap Awards.Awards usually go to East Enders[boring, miserable, predictable and poorly acted]or Hollyoaks[bizarre] or Emmerdale[very badly acted].Only Corrie deserves the plaudits for stoylines and acting.Fingers crossed!
