Well words cannot express how happy I am to have 'Doctors' back. It's really odd how much you miss something that you watch most days when it suddenly disappears for a month.
And I thought this was a brillant story to come back on - the great David Troughton, playing an eccentric explorer who's forged a very special bond with his grandson, but has a slightly uneasy relationship with his son. I found the whole thing clever and touching and charming and for once the fact that Letherbridge is knee-deep in snow seemed to make sense.
Mind you, this whole Quack storyline seems to have been a bit of nonsense manufactured to keep us in suspense during the summer break. But was anybody seriously bothered about whether or not Liam recovered? I just want to know if Mrs Tembe is ever going to find love with either Heston or her vicar...
