Ronnie is married to George, but back at university he dated Helen for a while. The couple came to Letherbridge without realising that Helen was there.
Ronnie’s a solicitor. He fought to free Marc when he was falsely accused of rape and now he’s the first person anyone will turn to when they need legal advice. He has disagreed with George about children as he doesn’t think they should become parents. This decision was further strengthened for him when he witnessed the death of his next door neighbour's son, he felt responsible for not saving the boy and struggled to come to terms with his guilt.
He was a soft touch when Kate was rallying help for the Haven Centre, and now gives some of his time to helping out there with legal queries.

I guess this should be added
In December 2005, Ronnie became a father when his wife gave birth to his daughter, Bracken. The birth was surrounded by bad feelings between Ronnie and his wife as she'd seen him 'kiss' another woman just hours before. This nearly spilt the Woodsons' up.

"kiss" haha. It was hardly a kiss, he was just lonely because he felt betrayed by George...
