Hallo, Considering I've been here a while I thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself before I put my first message on this board. My name is Charlotte, I'm 21, I live in Holland, nearby Rotterdam, I'm a student (trying to become a history teacher). I've been watching Doctors for about 3 or 4 years, I'm not quite sure. I love Sarah, Greg and George, and Jimmy and all the others to, but the first 3 are my favorites. Considering English is not my first language, there is a big chance I will make a mistake, so if you want you can correct it, I won't mind, I can learn from it. (oh, I just found the spell check, big help ;D ) groetjes (is Dutch for greetings, or goodbye) Charlotte

hello charlotte and welcome! it's great to see that our message board has become famous in more places! you can find here a warm and supportive little community who never judges. (ok, we sometimes judge the **** who write the script to our beloved series, how could they let halen go away?!). as for your english - let it be your least of problems. i myself come from a non english speaking country, my native language is hebrew and i manage quite well... (hmmm, i hope... ). so, i'm sure you'll feel at home here in no time, in fact, you probably know that already. just one question, if i may, out of my own curiosity: which channel do you watch doctors on? which season are you in? can you get the uk bbc 1 and be with the rest of the forum members, or do you watch it on bbc prime (like i do) and now you're just after elizabeth's second week at the mill? or maybe they have a local channel in holand that broadcasts the series in another time line? (the irish tv does that!). tell us please? ok, enough of me, hope you enjoy your stay here, and feel free to post as much as you like! love xxx i

I watch Doctors on BBC1(UK), so I'm with the rest of the forum members. In Holland we get many foreign channels: 3 German, 2 Belgian, BBC1 and BBC2, 1 French, 1 Spanish and Arte which is French and German. I don't know how it is in the rest of the world, but I like all those foreign channels, it is good for learning (or remembering/keeping up with it) languages and other cultures. Charlotte

Charlotte all i can say is: lucky you! i have only BBC Prime. other foreign channels are extra money with the sat companey i subscribe... and anyway, all i watch is bbc and sports - especially eurosport. so, i never bother to pay. (hopefully i'll soon be able to tell you good news about my location, though... . cross your fingers for me people!)
