Searching for an Episode - 2006 - please help

Hey, I'm Saz and I've just joined. I'm searching for a particular episode, I hope someone can help me!

Robert Gwilym (Max, Casualty) was apparently in an episode this year, can't say when I'm afraid. All I know is that the episode is from 2006 and he played a character called Danny Simon.

He looks like this:



Although he may have been a bit balder/had a beard

The reason I'm after the episode is because I co-run his official website and only just found out he was in Doctors....

I'd like the name/date of the episode if possible, and at best a copy?? But that's being cheeky I know!

hello saz and welcome!

i can't remember this character, but i suggest that you go to the spoilers section and read all the spoilers from 2006. usually the name of the characters is mentioned there. i'd start from the DS spoilers, because they are much more detailed.
then, go to the episode chat and look for the epis that you think could be the ones from the spoilers, and read our discussions there - if it's not there, i don't know how else we can help you.

regarding a copy - it is illegal to even talk about it here, this forum is following a very strict rule of copyright controll and doesn't want to mess with the bbc, but i believe that if any of us here has the epi in question, they would contact you in a private message later.

I've just read through all the ep guides and the only one that mentions a "danny" is 'Something I Ate', april 3rd 06. Problem is, it doesn't sound like the kind of character Bob would play....it sounds as if the character is meant to be somewhat younger.

"Greg is called to the station to certify a death in the cells, and is introduced to two probationer PCs, Danny and Jason, who are being mentored by WPC Michelle Young. There has been a thief in the station and all the officers are suspects, especially Danny who is disliked by everyone (Jason was a suspect until he too had his wallet stolen). When Greg finds Danny being sick on two occasions, he tries to get him to talk, but although he admits to being stressed, Danny storms out when he realises Greg too thinks he could be guilty. "

Anyone remember that one and can they tell me if they remember the guy being Bob *points to his photo above and in my avatar*

I'm certain that that isn't the episode with him as the character in that episode was quite young. edited to add: the character in that episode is Danny Gleeson played by Peter England

where did you find out about him being in Doctors?

Yeah I didn't think so - thanks for confirming that one.

It's on his agents page so it must be true! But it only says "Doctors, Danny Simon, 2006"

I'm certain that he hasn't appeared this year, so i'd think he will appear when Doctors when it returns in September

I can't remeber him being in Doctors yet - agree that it will probably be later on in the year. Not much longer to wait for the return of Doctors now... yippee

I know the 1000th ep was filmed in April, and that's due to be shown in September, so that's probably a good guide.
